2019 EYOF: 6th and 7th place for our Belgian girls in the bars final
Today was the first day of event finals at the European Youth Olympic Festival. Jutta Verkest and Margaux Dandois both competed in the uneven bars final.

Margaux was the very first one gymnast to compete. At only 13, she showed she belonged in this final with a solid routine, comprising of a Jaeger release and a double piked dismount. She scored 12.600. Jutta was the 7th to go. She impressed in qualifications and the all-around final. With a Jaeger salto and a full twisting double tuck dismount, she scored 12.900.
Jutta placed 6th and Margaux was 7th in a final won by Russian sensation Viktoriia Listunova with 14.300. Listunova, the Juniors World Champion, won two new gold medals. She now has 4 for herself (team final, all-around final, vault and uneven bars). And she can add two more as she will compete in the beam and floor finals tomorrow.
Her teammate Irina Komnova won the silver with 13.733. The bronze went to Romania's Ioana Stanciulescu with 13.366.
