2023 EYOF: 9th and 14th place for the junior teams.

Yesterday the European Youth Olympic Festival started in Maribor, Slovenia with the boy's qualifications. Today the girls completed their qualifications. They did well and qualified for 2 finals.

On tuesday the Belgian boys competed. Kyano Schepers, Victor Tournicourt and Fynn Van Kampen scored 151.85 as a team and finished 14th. Great Britain won the gold medal with 159.25. Italy finished second and Armenia won the bronze medal.

Kyano qualified for the individual final on parallel bars with a score of 13.15. He also received the highest all-around score of the Belgian team. He finished 18th with a total of 76.050. Victor Tournicourt scored 74.200 and took the 30th place. Fynn Van Kampen totalised 72.400 and finished 46th. 

Today Chloe Baert, Hanne Degryse and Marie De Smedt took the floor. They started their competition on vault. They finished 9th as a team with a total score of 96.00. Italy won the gold medal with a score of 104.85. Germany won the silver medal and Great Britain finished third.

Chloe Baert finished 11th all-around with a total score of 49.00. Marie De Smedt took the 30th place with 45.80 and Hanne Degryse the 35th place with 45.15. 

Kyano Schepers and Chloe Baert qualified for the Mixed Team Final that will start tomorrow at 14.00.
