Axelle Klinckaert was the third gymnast to go in the floor final. She cleanly performed her tumbling passes and had the crowd in the palm of her hand with her choreography. She scored 13.333. Two more gymnasts matched that score: the Italian Elisa Meneghini and Su Jong Kim from North Korea. Rune Hermans would have beaten that score if it weren't for her last tumbling pass, which took her out of the floor area and out of the medals. Her exercise was nevertheless a pleasure for the eye.
