2024 European championships for men: All you need to know.

On wednesday april 24th the European championships for men start in Rimini.  The Baloise team Belgym is represented by Maxime Gentges, Noah Kuavita, Victor Martinez, Glen Cuyle and Luka Vanden Keybus.  Nicola Cuyle will compete as an individual gymnast.

On wednesday the Baloise Belgian team will compete in the first subdivision of the qualifications that starts at 10 o clock. They will start their competition on pommel horse. The qualifications also serve as all-around final for the seniors. A Senior team consists of 3 to 5 gymnasts, of which up to 4 compete on each apparatus. The 3 best scores on each apparatus are added together to make the total score for the Team on that apparatus. The 8 best teams from the qualifications will compete in the Team Final. The Belgian men hope to qualify for the Team Final as well as for some apparatus finals.

On the junior side Noam Descamps, Bob Neyrinck, Kyano Schepers, Fynn Van Kampen and Victor Tournicourt will compete as a team. 4 gymnasts compete on each apparatus, the 3 best scores are taken into account for the team final. The results from the Junior Qualifying competition will determine the 2024 Junior European Team Champion and medallists. The 24 highest ranked gymnasts in the all-around from the Junior Qualifying Competition will qualify for the respective All-Around Final with a maximum of two gymnasts per federation. The 8 highest ranked gymnasts (with a max of 2 gymnasts per federation) will compete in the individual apparatus finals. The juniors will compete in the third and last subdivison on thursday, starting at 17:30. They will start their competition on vault.

The senior competition will be streamed on EBU's platform Eurovision-Sport. The finals will be broadcasted on Sporza and other European TV channels.
