Dennis Goossens is a specialist on still rings, right from the beginning of his career among the seniors, a very difficult apparatus that combines strenght and balance. He reached two World Challenge Cup finals, one in Hungary in 2013 and the other one this year in Ljubljana but has, for now, failed to qualify for a final in a World or European Championships, even if almost did twice.

In 2013 indeed, in front of his home crowd, he's ranked 12th in qualifications at the World Championships. And at this year's European Championships, he finished in 10th position and was second reserve for the final. After experiencing a bit of a disppointment at the 2015 Summer Universiade in Gwangju, Dennis will try to earn a spot in the team that will represent Belgium at this year's Worlds.
